Corporations and corporate executives are being prosecuted criminally for Senior Partner Eliot Krieger, formerly an Assistant United States Attorney in both the civil and criminal divisions, has vigorously represented his clients on a variety of environmental cases and worked on several cases with the Environmental Crimes unit of the United States Attorney's Office. Mr. Krieger has expertise in litigation regarding the preservation of lands and has litigated several cases under Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA) and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). He also prevailed at both the trial court level and on appeal in the Ninth Circuit when he defended the United States Navy in a major National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) case where community activists attempted to halt the conversion of the former Untied States Navel Base in Long Beach, California.
